Books
A compact 8×8 book of 27 photos in B&W and color that is inspired by my personal love of the magnificent Saguaro cactus. With its long lifespan, the Saguaro seems to be an eternal feature of the Sonoran Desert. A lengthening drought raises concerns, however, over the future of this signature species and adds fuel to the conversation over climate change.
During a trip to Santa Monica, CA, I was surprised to find how much my understanding of a location I thought I knew well from living in the area for years, had changed after a relatively short time away. This made me think about what impressions a first time visitor to the region might take away. This photo essay, titled “First Impressions”, raises questions about social responsibility and self image. Copies are available only through Amazon.com, under their books section (ISBN number 13: 979-8330324569).
Prints from the Galleries
Below is a selection of photos picked from my Gallery pages that I believe best represent the spirit and intent of the individual Gallery and Blog they come from. I have selected a particular photo paper for each image that I feel best suits the subject. I am offering these in two standard sizes, however, if you wish to have a different size, please contact me as that may be possible in most cases. All prints are made using high quality Canon papers and inks. All copies are signed, regardless of size. Larger prints may be offered in limited editions and are delivered with a certificate of authenticity and individual print number. Prints are delivered unframed, giving you maximum flexibility in matching the print to your space, whether you use a standard or custom size frame.
Only one image is included below from each Gallery section for brevity and clarity. However, almost all images from my website are available to print upon request. If you find an image in a particular gallery not included below that you would like to have a print of, please send me a note from the Contact page.
